Alice Perry ‘Open Data’ Hackathon

The goal of the competition is to allow participants the opportunity to identify and code new app concepts using data from and other data portals. The concepts will provide a societal benefit and have a positive impact on citizens. The theme for this year is ‘Climate Action and Circular Economy’.

€500 awarded to the overall winners along with The Alice Perry Trophy.
€300 awarded to the first runner up.
€200 awarded to the second runner up.

Important Dates:
8 November 2019: Registration for the Hackathon via Eventbrite only on, or before, the above date:
16 November 2019: Alice Perry Hackathon.

How to take part:
The main goal for this competition is to #ThinkSolveChange regarding Climate Action and Circular Economy:
1. Think of a problem in society.
2. Solve/form a solution for it.
3. Change it.
Concepts can be based on a diverse range of subjects including planning, transport, health, waste, greenhouse emissions, marine pollution, sustainable manufacturing etc.
