The goal of the competition is to allow participants the opportunity to identify and code new app concepts using data from www.data.gov.ie and other data portals. The concepts will provide a societal benefit and have a positive impact on citizens. The theme for this year is ‘Climate Action and Circular Economy’.
Prizes:
€500 awarded to the overall winners along with The Alice Perry Trophy.
€300 awarded to the first runner up.
€200 awarded to the second runner up.

8 November 2019: Registration for the Hackathon via Eventbrite only on, or before, the above date:
16 November 2019: Alice Perry Hackathon.
How to take part:
The main goal for this competition is to #ThinkSolveChange regarding Climate Action and Circular Economy:
1. Think of a problem in society.
2. Solve/form a solution for it.
3. Change it.
Concepts can be based on a diverse range of subjects including planning, transport, health, waste, greenhouse emissions, marine pollution, sustainable manufacturing etc.
